Dr. Russwin Francisco is a speaker, educator, and entrepreneur whose work focuses on the hidden dynamics shaping human behavior, leadership, and culture. He brings a rare combination of academic depth, business leadership, creative aptitude, and cultural insight. He offers talks and workshops on leadership, identity, psychological congruence, and sex positivity. He helps individuals and organizations move from performance to authenticity, from silence to clarity, and from fragmentation to integration.
As founder and President of Bite the Fruit, Francisco has cultivated an inclusive, sex-positive environment grounded in education, dignity, and community engagement. He has supported healthier conversations about sexuality, relationships, and human connection for 14 years.
Previously, Francisco co-founded a public policy organization supporting federal safety legislation. He was a college lecturer for nearly 16 years, teaching business courses and classical mythology. He was a university administrator for a decade, coordinating multi-institution academic initiatives, and also served as a graduate student advisor.
He earned a Ph.D. in Epistemological Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, focused on the psychological anthropology of major cultural spheres. He also holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The George Washington University.
Throughout his professional life, Francisco maintained a parallel career in the performing arts. He has been a stage actor for more than 30 years, recently adding film acting and producing to his credits.
